Prime Example Records is a Toronto-based music and entertainment company built for the artists the industry has not found yet. We are not a traditional record label. We do not sign artists to take from them. We partner with artists to build with them, providing the foundation, the strategy, the network, and the execution that independent artists in Toronto and across Canada need but cannot access on their own.

Founded by CorporateSpot, a recording artist, published journalist, graduate-level researcher, policy analyst, artist manager, and event producer with over a decade of documented experience on both sides of the industry, Prime Example Records has been operating continuously since 2016. In 2026, the company entered its most ambitious chapter yet with a rebuilt digital platform, a formalized management program, a flagship annual conference, and a clear roadmap toward becoming the most trusted independent music platform in Canada.
