Corporate Spot

CorporateSpot, formerly known as Yung Spot, is a Toronto-based recording artist, published journalist, graduate-level researcher, policy analyst, artist manager, and event producer. As the founder of Prime Example Records, he has spent over a decade operating on both sides of the music industry.

His discography spans three projects across more than a decade: In Da Makin (2008), Above Average Mixtape (2012), and In Da Makin Vol 2 (2021). Signed distribution deal with FOF Records and performing at Dundas Square as part of FOF Stock, CorporateSpot has demonstrated the kind of range that few independent artists maintain.

His music has been used at a session connected to the World Summit on the Information Society at the United Nations General Assembly, a recognition that speaks to both the quality of his work and the reach of his network. As founding artist and executive director of Prime Example Records, CorporateSpot is both a product and a proof-of-concept for what independent artist platform can achieve.
